The dodgeball tournament that everyone has been waiting for is coming up this Friday, October 30..
With the tournament around the corner, we decided to ask Mr. Hamilton Hernandez a few questions about the tournament. He is organizing the event which will be held after school in the new gym.
This event was originally thought of as a way to get the school together and to have a fun time with one another through an old classic: dodgeball, he said.
Mr. Hernandez said that were would be “approximately fifteen to twenty teams” playing in the tournament. The students are not the only ones playing. Teachers will be joining the fun since students, after finalizing registration, pick a teacher to join their team from a roster of teachers willing to participate, Hernandez said.
If you do not wish to participate, you still can enjoy this exciting game. Spectators are welcome to watch and there is no fee to come in. However, food donations would be appreciated if able to contribute. Come see the tournament for what surely will be a good time.
Also, good luck to all the teams participating this Friday.
