By: Jackson Mariotti  This year, boys soccer ended their regular season with an impressive 11-6-1 record. After clinching the Oronoque Division easily, the team moved on to the post season. Unfortunately, they had an early exit in both SCC’s and the State Class L playoffs. Even though they were disappointed, they are already looking toward next year. Seven juniors started varsity, and with almost the entire team returning, their hopes are high for next year. The team is more motivated now because no one was happy with losing. They want to win and are even more determined to make it all happen. When the team is off the field, they are more than just classmates. They are friends, and are very much like one another Mike Caminear, a junior, said “Comradeship is the best aspect of being on the team.” The team chemistry is one reason they will continue to achieve next year. The team is going to put in the tie to train and it may seem early to tell, but the expectations of the team are high. Jack Pottenger said “Keep an eye out for us, because we are going to be capable of doing big things next year.” On behalf of the BHS fan section, and BHS, we all look forward to tuning into their season next year.
