“Dark of the Moon” Debuting at Branford High School, Thursday

By Alexandra Augustak On Thursday, December 6th, the much anticipated fall play, “The Dark of the Moon”, will debut at Branford High School. Directed by English teacher Mrs. Ogren, “The Dark of the Moon” features a cast made up of students ranging from all grade levels who are guaranteed to give off a great performance. The play is a perfect night’s entertainment for fans of love stories, tragedies, and even comedies. The play is set in the Appalachian Mountains and revolves around the lives of the witches and humans that live there. There, a boy fell in love with a human girl, something that is not allowed. Since the townspeople are terrified of the witches, the boy must try to become a human to be with the girl he loves. Despite some funny scenes, the play is a tragedy.  
The show runs for three days, Thursday, December 6th through Saturday, December 8th, always starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets sell for $5 at the entrance.
