Fall Play “The Crucible” Review

the-crucible Photo From Moore’s Lore By Hannah Kahl “The Crucible”, written by Arthur Miller, is a very well known play that the BHS theatre performed on December 4-6, 2008. “The Crucible” is about the Salem Witch Trials that occurred in 1692. “The Crucible” was directed by Mrs. Ogren and all of the students that were involved did a great job. All of the acting was excellent and all of the students acted out their characters very well. There were a lot of lines in this play and they did a good job memorizing them. The costumes were great and they helped to make the play more realistic. The costumes helped the audience understand the setting and time period of the play. “The Crucible” has an interesting storyline based on actual events, but it must have been hard for the students to act out actual events that happened over 300 years ago. The audience seemed to enjoy the play and there were quite a lot of people there for the Thursday night show. Everyone involved in the “The Crucible” should be very proud of themselves because they did a wonderful job.
